    Germanys Invasion of Poland
    Adolph Hitler led Germany into Poland and invaded Poland. Hitler did this so he could bring Lebensraum (living space). Ib On September 3, 1939 Poland, France, and Britain declared War on Germany, starting World War II. The Polish army was defeated almost right away. Germany had over 2000 tanks and 1000 planes that helped attack Warsaw. Warsaw then surrendered on September 27th, 1939.

This all happened so Germany could get more land and rule more countries.     Auschwitz was a concentration camp that the Nazis used. It was one of the largest death camps out. More than 2 million Jews were killed in this camp, either by gas, starvation, shot, or disease It's located near Oswiecim, Poland. On January 27th, 1945, Soviet troops over took Auschwitz and and stopped this tragity. They found 7 tons of human hair,43,000 pairs of shoes. Only 200,000 prisoners survied

    Barbarossa was the largest militarty attack during World War II. The attack happend at 3:00 Sunday morning against Russia. Germany and its allies had 3 million soldiers.The three large Germany Army groups : Army Group North, Army Group Centre, and Army Group South.     Sunday morning Japanese bombed the American naval base in Oahu Hawaii. Over 3500 Americans were killed or wounded over a course of 2 hours. All 8 battle ships there were either badly damaged or destroyed.The next day the devestaded nation gathered around their radios to hear President Roosevelt deliver his speech.     The Battle of Midway is coinsidered one of the most important Navy battles to date. Japanese plan was to attack and would then make it easier to attack Hawaii later on, by making a base there.     The warsaw ghetto, was a square mile wide that held almost 400,000 jews at one point. Over course of time the number of people went down , due to starvation, disesase, or deathcamps. Nazis wanted to kill and destroy these ghettos, when they arrived many jews had weapons and killed and actually thought they had won, when the germans pulled out. A while later a bigger German force came in and torched buildings, went into hospitals and shot everyone, simply they eliminated the ghetto. (more)
