    Alexander Graham Bell makes first transcontinental telephone call. This call basically initiated AT&T's service. This new device would open up alot of opportunitys and ideas in war.

    German U boats sink the Lusitina. This event occured off the southern coast of Ireland. This put Amarica very much against Germany.
