Japan's Air Force bombed China, causing many deaths in China's cities.

    Germany invades Poland on September 1st, 1939. Over 2,000 tanks and 1,000 planes were used to defeat the Polish defense within weeks.September 27 was the day that Warsaw surrendered to Germany. By October, a man named Hans Frank controlled the remainder of Germany's conquered Poland.

Blitskriegs mean "lightning war" and is Nazis military tactic where you attack unexpectedly creating confusion among the enemy troops. Blitskrieg is based on a doctrine formed during WW1 for a quick victory. The point of the military tactic is to set large mobile forces through weak enemy points.

By the end of the attack, 2,000 soldiers were killed,8 battleships, and 2,000 airplanes are destroyed. the attack destroyed famous ships like U.S.S. Arizona and injured the U.S.S. Oklahoma. Once the U.S. Declared war on Japan, the axis powers declared war on the U.S.

Many troops died because of guards killing them off once too weak to continue the walk well.once at the camps, even more POWs died because diseases, mistreatment,and starvation.

    This battle is when Russia stops Germany's movement into the USSR and the allies have a chance.tha battle was fought in the street, so nearly 2 million civilians and solders died.On February 2, 1943, General Paulus surrendered With his 91,000 men to give the USSR the win.this was an embarrasment for hitler and his army who do well with blitzkrieg.

There were 156,000 American,British, and Canadian troops that deployed on five beaches that were 50 miles long.D-Day was suppose to happen on June 5, but got delayed due to bad weather.in conclusion, there was over 4,000 casualties- 2,000 which were Americans.

    The liberation of camps was a walk across Germany liberating all of those in camps and being abuse by the nazis.the soviets met their first camp near Lubin,Poland during July.when liberated, the allies had the prisoners walk west, soon known as death march.when the nazis knew the allies were coming, they would try to hide underground,but some of the prisoners resisted and kept the guards on campus.

There were five Marin divisions used to gain control of different parts of the island.

    The battle of Okinawa was the biggest amphibious battle in the pacific theatre in WW2. The island's importance were the four airfields the U.S. needed for their bombers. The Japanese kamikazed over 193 planes, while only 169 being destroyed. By July 2nd, America captured the island Okinawa.

    Victory in Europe day is the day of the end of WW2, which happened May 7th.many governments allowed for illegal activites due for celebrations.Hitler killed himself on April 30, and his successor, Admiral Karl Doenitz, sent a general to agree for terms to end the war. On May 7, general Jody was forced to surrender for Germany.

One of the few German cities with a standing courthouse, also where hitler heldfamous rallies.The four court cases trailed were: conspiracy to wage aggressive war, waging an aggressive war, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.when the main war trials were done, it took two more years to do minor trials.
