    The night called "Kristallnacht" was a night of terror for the Jews. At least 100 were murdered as the Nazi's burned down synagogues and businesses. Thousands were sent to concentration camps, and the others were banned from doing many things in their everyday life.

    Eisenhower lead an invasion on the beaches of Normandy. The Allies went through many obsticals, such as machine gun fire and mines. After a few months, they were able to push through Germany's defense.

    After many years of dictatorship and war, Hitler takes his own life. He also takes the life of his wife and child. Without a leader, the Nazi's surrender soon after. His suicide was only 2 days after Mussolini was assassinated.

    After years of fighting and betrayal, Germany finally surrendered to the Soviets. Though Germany thought it would be an easy task to overcome the Soviets. the Soviets were able to over power Germany. This helped to bring the war to a close.

    Radiation poisoning 3 days after the dropping of the first atomic bomb, a second was dropped on Nagasaki. Many people died, and these bombs left long term troubles for the Japanese, such as radiation. People continued to die due to radiation years after the bombs were dropped.
