South Carolina secedes from the Union to avoid the abolishment of slaves.

The Battle of Fort Sumter begins. Troops from the North battle with the Confederate States. Battle only lasts for one day because Lincoln does not send supplies.

Lincoln decides not to send supplies to Fort Sumter and North has no choice but to retreat. South takes over fort. Condederates were planning to shell Fort Sumter, but the battle did not progress enough for to bomb the fort. Citizens of the Union are not wanting or willing to risk their lives to battle the South for no reason. Therefore, Lincoln slowly loses followers and volunteers.

For the reason that Lincoln was not able to keep his promise of ending the war because there were not enough volunteers to fight, McClellan wins the campaign by promising a peaceful end to the war.

McClellan offers to leave the Confederate States of America alone if they banish slavery. Confederates, offended by the offer, declare war because they want to keep they're slaves.

McClellan tries to prevent the battle from happening because he does not want any more blood shed over the matter. Confederates still barge in and attack. Many are killed because of McClellan's orders. McClellan has no choice but to fight back to prevent any more deaths.

McClellan agrees to leave let the Confederate Steats of America keep slaves if and only if they rejoin the Union. Confederates agree to the terms.

White supremacy groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, get mobs together and fight against supporters. Barack Obama is assassinated over night because of the anger built up in te country.
