    Fall of Rome
    There was feudalism which seperated the people into Kings, lords, knights, and serfs. That created order and security. Joan of Arc was a peasant who heard voices of the saints who lead her to lead war, The art was all relgious and told stories sincee they couldnt read, but relgion was extremely important. All of the trade was just within locals because there were no longer roads, a lot of things were taken over by barbarians. Life was depressing. All of the culture went dark

    Renaissance
    The Renaissance was a rebirth of Rome. Focused a lot on art and knowledge. Had three main artists- Donatello, Da Vince. They came up with new techniques in art- 3D, perspective, lighting.

    Europe's economy grew, got gold and silver. They got power, Spain controls a ton of other places. America- Millions of Native Americans died from enslavement and massacre and suicide. Diversity happened in America. Music from Africa, Religion from Europe. Africa- took people; depopulation. An effect for all:: Columbian Exchange:: Lots of new crops brought to each: horses to Americas, potatoes to Europe, cassava to Africa.

    reformation is when we discussed absolutism. Absolutism is when the king or ruler has complete power.
