    The French and Indian war started in 1754 and ended in 1763.
    They were fighting over territory and wealth and power. In the early the french were winning .But the british got the french tired and british ended up winnig by the loss of ammo. But the british werent so happy they had a huge war debt.

    the treaty of paris was a Agreement signed to give Spain control of huge parts of United States. the british had a positive outcome beacuse they had french territory and bragging rights. french were affected beacuase they had allot of people killed and lost territory.
  • Pontiacs War

    Pontiacs war was a war that started in 1763 and tribes would join together.There goal was to try to push british soldiers out of there territory. And they were named after there Ottawa leader Pontiac. and all colonies got affected by it beacuse land was lost and destroyed.

    The Proclamation was a line drawn along the Appalachian mountains. And it was there to prevent settlers from passing. Colonies reacted by building new colonies and regulating fur trade.

    The Quartering act was a Act that parliament did to give The Quartering act was A Act that required people to give British soldiers whatever they wanted whenever they wanted.The Act It was originally a response to issues and to have control of colonies. And thecolonies didn’t understand it because there were 1500 soldiers doing nothing. And it required them to pay Quartering tax.

    the stamp act was a stamp on books and magazines that u would have to pay. They passed this so they could pay for the troops. Many of colonists thought it was a violation of there rights as it was. It was different from the sugar Act because the sugar act was a stamp for sugar and they used the money for different costs. They got it stopped but parliament didn’t stop he just made a ne act called the Declaratory Act.

    The Stamp Act Congress was held because they wanted to protest against the British tax Act. The key leaders were the elected representatives who were paying these taxes. 12 of the 13 colonies attended the gathering. And then the Stamp Act Congress made document called Declaration Of Rights And Grievances.

    The Townshend was named after its leader Charles Townshend all his job to do was to keep everything in shape or together. The purpose was to pay the salaries of governors and judges. And some items that got taxed were lead, paper, glass ,tea ,and paint. It was the tea tax that stayed and would go on to make The Tea Act.

    The Boston massacre started or lead up by one day colonists were throwing snowballs at a group of redcoats .But were told to hold their fire and then the colonists were taunting them and after a while the red coats had enough and shoot a man and that to a shootout. And eventually led to killing several and injuring others. the boston massacre was to be reavealed as a unprovoked slaughter.Does it realy seem like a massacreyes beacuse it was a shootout were several people lost thre lives.

    The purpose was to lower the price on tea shipping and buyying.This Act was meant to help the East India Company. A monopoly is a supplier for a compony who can only be there supply demander.

    The Boston Tea Party was an event that occurred in December when Demonstrators destroyed all the tea being sent over from the East India Company. The cause was because the boycott of paying Tea Tax. And they lost so much tea 342 packages of tea were dumped. The group responsible for the Boston Tea Party was The Sons of Liberty. In return the British just doubled the tax from before
  • Intolerable Acts

    Intolerable Acts were passed because the British parliament was in debt and wanted the Americans to pay some of the expanse. And the Act had another name called Coercive Acts. There were actually 5 laws that went with Intolerable Acts.
  • the first continenal Congress

    The first Continental Congress was held because there were no laws and we had to find three branches. And in this meeting there were twelve of the thirteen were represented. And people counting were 56 people attended. One thing they agreed to was to boycott all British goods, and they had joined militias together .
  • lexington and concord

    The armies headed to Concord to find and destroy hidden supplies stored by the Massachusetts militia. At Lexington it was a disaster 49 people were killed, 39 were wounded or injured, and 5 were missing in action. They were people who would go to other countries and get orders for their tribes. At Concord they seized the tribe they were going against. The British's result wasTheir guns didn't work so they lost.
  • Second continental congress

    On June 14, 1775 The Second Continental Congress voted to get the Continental Army out of militias. The Olive Branch Petition was a fortified attempt to try and stop a huge war against the thirteen colonies. The Declaration of Causes was a document issued to ask why the thirteen colonies had to up arms of what was about to become Revolutionary War. They set up a role to start a war.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    The colonies intended on building their defenses on Bunker Hill, but actually build on Breeds hill. The main person who led the Americans to bunker hill was William Prescott. And the leader for the British was Thomas Gage. They knew that the troops were going to try to go over Bunker Hill so they just waited there for them. And chose this because it would just be easier to stay out were the war was happening. The British had won the fight , we call it a costly victory , 800 dead and 226 wounded.
