    The battle at Dien Bien Phu lasted 55 days between the French and the Vietnamese. Although the Vietnamese had 8,000 troops dead and 12,000 wounded, while the French had only 3,000 killed and 8,000 wounded the Vietnamese ended the war with a victory. Unfortunately after the victory of Vietnam the French were angered causing a continued war.

    Operation Crimp was an operation that involved the United States and Australian military in the Vietnam War. The target of this operation was to find the Viet Cong headquarters who were hiding underground.
