The wii u comes into the market, but didn't do as well as the wii. The wii u introduced double screen consoles, so anyone can view their games in two screens. It wasn't a huge innovation, but in some cases important. -
xbox one
The most advanced console yet, the xbox one introduced voice controlls and amazing graphic technology. While aesthetically pleasing and really fast, it also introduces controllerless gameplay with kinect, when YOU are truly the controller. The xbox one was a winner and ends our timeline.
