    In order to start the 1st standard oil refinery Rockefeller had to borrow money to buy out some of his partners. Standard oil did mainly everything such as make its own barrels for scientists to figure out new uses for petroleum. His practices led to congress passing antitrust laws. This led to the first ideas of Monopoly.
