    The PROCLAMATION OF 1763 was a celebration for the victory over the French and Indian war. This opened many new oppertunities for colonists, and even established 3 more cololnies. These being Quebec, West Florida, and East Florida .

    Because Britain was in war with the the Frence taxes sky rocketed. thus inferiating american colonists. They eventually hit there breaking point and rebelled agaist Great Britain, loyalists sided with the Brittish of course, but the true power was with the patiots that wanted freedom more then anything. The brittish surrendered.

    The Boston Massacre was the killing of five colonists by British regulars in 1770. It was the culmination of tensions in the American colonies that had been growing since Royal troops first appeared in Massachusetts in 1768 to enforce the heavy tax burden imposed by the Townshend Acts.

    The INTOLERABLE ACTS was when the government spent immense sums of money on troops and equipment in an attempt to subjugate Massachusetts. British merchants had lost huge sums of money on looted, spoiled, and destroyed goods shipped to the colonies.
