    This event is important because Abraham Lincoln was a man who pretty much ended slavery. He was shot at a movie theatre by a famous actor.

    9/11 is important because about 3000 innocent people in the U.S. were killed. Osama Bin Ladin and his terrorist hijacked 4 planes and crashed them in the Pentagon and the twin towers.

    Hurricane Katrina is important because it left many people without food or shelter and it killed about 2000 people in New Orleanes which caused a lot of trouble.
