New England Confederation
Description: Offer welfare and peace to colonies. Signed at Boston.
Significance: Steps to the future independence, showed that colonies could separate from England. -
Glorious Revolution
Description: Revolution without bloodshed, it overthrow King John and established monarch.
Significance: Sewed the idea of revolution in the colonies. In Boston Puritan militiamen seize Governor-in-Chief Andros and put him in jail. -
Stono Rebellion
Description:Largest slave revolt ever staged in the 13 colonies, 20 slaves with a leader named Jemmy, they kill white people in order to express their desire on liberty.
Significance: Stono Rebellion can be a catalyst it changed the face of slavery affected other colonies. It consolidated slavery in an unprecedented way, and it will happen anyway. -
Albany plan of union
Description:Plan by Benjamin Franklin, to establish a unified government for the thirteen colonies.
Significance: Although plan got rejected, but it represent that people have purpose on but all the colonies together under one government. -
Stamp Act Congress
Description: People got charge taxation on stamp which they use on sending their documents, and people feel that's not proper so protest in New York.
Significance: First protest that colonies representative gather together and show unsatisfied with taxation. -

Significance: Lead to creation of Committee of Correspondence. British government become unpopular to America and this become a major parts in the events that lead to American Revolution -
Boston Tea Party
Description: Protest that happened in Boston, oppose the British government’s taxation in the colony and control as well.
Significance: This pretest shows American's unsatisfied with the Britain -
Massachusetts Government Act
Description:An Act for the better regulating the government of the province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England.
Significance: One of the five Coercive, or Intolerable Acts, that lead to dissent in the American colonies and to the creation of the Declaration of Rights and Grievances in 1774. -
Intolerable acts
Description: Punishment of colonists, four acts: the Boston Port Act, the Massachusetts Government Act, the Administration of Justice Act, and the Quartering Act.
Significance: Bring out first continental congress in the future, edification colonies to be unify against British. -
Quebec Act
Description: Allow emancipation for the Catholic, French-speaking settlers of Quebec.The Province of Quebec was not afforded the right of democracy or self-government.
Significance: Quebec Act extended tolerance of Catholic, and this seems as adverse act with Britain's Roman Catholic faith. -
First Continental Congress
Description:Met in Philadelphia, 12/13colonies attended. Encourage boycott from British and sent declaration of right.
Significance: Results in a Plan of Union of Great Britain and the Colonies, The Suffolk Resolves, Declaration of Rights, and Continental Association. -
Suffolk Resolves
Description: Declaration from Massachusetts, rejected the Massachusetts Government Act.
Significance: People stand out for their disaffection with intolerable acts. they state British must repealed intolerable acts otherwise they will boycott all of their goods. -
The Declaration of Independence
Description: 13 colonies in the U.S cut down their connection with Great Britain and seeking for independence.
Significance: It's part of America's democracy formation and it shows their goal as an independence nation, also contains complains to British. -
Treaty of Paris
Description: British King and U.S representative signed the treaty ended up the Revolution war, and America gain fish rights of Canadians coasts.
Significance: The American Revolutionary War was formally ended, British acknowledged the independence of the United States, the colonial empire of Great Britain was destroyed in North America, and U.S. boundaries were established.
