Ecological Systems Theory
In 1979, Bronfenner's book, "The Ecology of Human Development: Experiments by Nature and Design" was published. In this book, he wrote of his ever famous Ecological Systems Theory. This theory says that a child's development is affected by five different systems in the child's life. -
Award
In 1996, he recieved the Lifetime Contribution to Developmental Psychology in the Service of Science and Society Award from the American Psychological Association. -
