The Purpose of this mission was to keep moniter ceasefire between India and Pakistan in Kashmir.

UN India-Pakistan Observation Mission

Period: Jan 1, 1965 to Mar 1, 1966

The purpose of this mission was to moniter ceasefire between India and Pakistan outside of Kashmir.

UN Advance Mission in Cambodia

Period: Jan 1, 1991 to Mar 1, 1992

The purpose of this mission was to restore order to Cambodia after the genocide that took place there.

UN Protection Force

Period: Jan 1, 1992 to Dec 1, 1995

The purpose of this mission was to protect arias in Croatia, Bosnia (during the genocide), and Republic of Macedonia.

UN Transitional Authority in Cambodia

Period: Jan 1, 1992 to Sep 1, 1993

This mission was simular to the UN Advance Mission in Cambodia. The previous mission was put in place to prepare for the UN Transitional Authority in Cambodia. This mission helped to reorganize Cambodia.

UN Obsever Mission Uganda-Rwanda

Period: Jan 1, 1993 to Sep 1, 1994

This mission took place during the genocide in Rwanda. Its mission was to enforce ceasefire there.

UN Assistance Mission for Rwanda

Period: Jan 1, 1993 to Mar 1, 1996

The purpose of this mission was, like the UN Observer Mission Uganda-Rwanda, was to moniter ceasefire. However, it was also to assist Rwanda after the genocide took place.

UN Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Period: Jan 1, 1995 to Dec 31, 2002

This mission took place during and after the genocide in Bosnia. Its purpose was to moniter human rights and provide relief there.
