Anyone who would agree to cultivate 160 acres of land for 5 years would receive title to that land from the federal government. This should be in compromise because they wanted you to live on the land for 5 years then they would give you the land for free. -

This act brought the South back into the US. This should be under diplomacy because this brought the country back together.
