  • Creation of Original Bank

    Alexander Hamilton created the first system of banking in the United States in order to establish credit with other countries. By doing this, the United States' economy grew and industrialism progressed.

  • Judiciary Act

    The law created 16 new federal judgeships. These positions were taken by Federalists assigned by President Adams.

  • The Louisiana Purchase

    Thomas Jefferson purchased the land for $15 million in order for the expansion of the United States westwerd.

  • War of 1812

    A war between the US and Britian. Britian fighting with the Indians against the US to keep order among the colonies.

  • Treaty of Ghent

    The Treaty of Ghet was a treaty of peace and amity between Britian and the United States of America. Involved the marking of boundries around the United States.

  • The Panic of 1819

    Trade after the war stopped which lead to unemployment, the failure of the bank, and forclosures of homes. The United States economy was in ruins.

  • Nulification Crisis

    Due to the Alien and Sedation Acts.
