This was an important event because it was the prohibition of the selling of alcohol. This creates many criminals like Al capone and the illegal making of alcohol (in bad ways too). The criminal percentage in America went up. -

Immigration Act of 1924
This prevented Immigrants from coming in and led to the hate of immigrants in America and the discrimination of them. This also created the KKK who thought all immigrants in America should be killed. -
Black Tuesday
This is when the stock market crashed and America’s start of the Great Depression. A lot of Americans lost a lot of money which caused the economy to go down and this was an important event because it changed the lives of Americans.
