The jungle book being published is an important event because it showed how badly the people in factories were treated but instead of America focusing on this, they focused on how their food was being processed and things on mold and poison. This created the Meat Inspection act and created the FDA. -
Aldrich vs Vreeland Act
This was an important event because it allowed banks to use the bonds of states, cities, and counties, along with commercial paper. It was to put more money into circulation. -
Sixteenth Amendment
I chose this as a important event because it’s when America decided to make an income tax which made them a way more financial country but it also brought problems about who they should tax and how much they should tax. -
17th amendment
The 17th amendment is important because it changed the way the government (mostly the senate works) and it also gave the people the right to vote for their senate -
19th amendment
The 19th amendment is important because it gave rights to women and it proved that the women suffrage movement actually succeeded. It was a victory for women after many years
