A document written by Tomas Jefferson. It proclaimed the colonies freedom over Great Britan. -
Louisiana Purchase
Tomas Jefferson purchased Louisiana, a large territory between the Mississippi river and the Rocky mountains. It doubled the size of the United States. -
Industrial Revolution
The industrial revoution changed from hand manufactured to machines that was cheaper. The transonctinental railroad was finished and made transportaiting goods easier. -
Civil War
Fighting broke out between the North and South because of slavery and other reasons. At first the south was winning, bu thte north cam back and won. -
World War 1
World War 1 was started in Europe. At first the U.S was not going to come in but when a German ship sank a number of ships that killed U.S civillians, they cam in the war. -

The great depression was started when stock prices fell and an economic decline. Life was hard in the United States. -

The dowl bowl was caused when farmers planted the whole great plains with crops and their was a drought. The crops died and notheing help in the soil, it whipped around everywhere. -

The U.S was again not going to enter the war. They did when Japan bomber Pearl Harbor. -

The U.S was in a cold war with the soviets. It was them displaying their military against ours, wthout actually fighting. -

During the 1980 olympic winter games the U.S hockey team was a major underdog. They beat the soviets out of imposible odds, the best team in the world, to go to the gold medal game. They gave the united states hope in a time of Cold war and shortages. -
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Ferris Bueller's day off was a movie realesed in 1986. It was a historic movie because it taught kids how to skip school and was a comadey. It boosted everyones spirits and made them go aout their day better. It also invented some good punch lines like, Buller, Ferris Bueller. -

On Feburary 28, 2001 Noah Haefner was born. The stars alaigned to form his cute little baby face. No on will ofrget this date for the rest of time, it will be remebered. The king of Antartica celebrated hs birth with a feast with his penguin minions. Noah Haefner is the most famous person born on this date, maybe even ever born besides Jesus and Chuck Norris. -

On 9/11 2001 a terrorist group bombed the twin towers. They also tried to bomb the white house and pentagon.
