    AKA The Second War for independence. U.S. defeated the British. Andrew Jackson emerged as a war hero by saing the city of New Orlans.

  • Trail of Tears

    White settlers in Georgia wanted Cherokee lands. President Jackson sided with the whies & orderd the removal of the Cherokee to Oaklahoma. Many died.

  • Mexican War

    A sequal to the Texas Revolution, this war featured a 4 month conflict over Mexico's northern territory. The U.S. got 1/4th its total current territory
