    The Transcontinental Railroad provided a service never seen before. It was able to ship goods accost the country while improving the economic state of the cities. Also fueling towns with Oil food and market accses.

  • Alexander Graham Bell invents the telephone

    The telephone had a huge impact.It made business more efficient and saved money from not having to travel back and forth from far distances. It made basic transactions quicker and It led to instant communication around the world.

  • Thomas Edison brings light to the world with the light bulb

    the light bulb helped extend modern life to after sundown. It also changed the life of workers everywhere allowing them to continue their tasks in the dark.The light bulb also helped travels and navigators allowing them to travel safely at night.

    This act established humane living conditions and outlawed construction of more tenement buildings. It made it so all rooms have a window, set a minimum size for apartments, and each had to have its own bathroom. The Tenement act improved living conditions for low income families.

    “The Jungle” was a book used for muckraking the meat packing industry.It exposed the discus ting conditions of the industry, His description of diseased, rotten, and contaminated meat shocked the public and led to the pure food and drug act

    This act changed america for the better. The pure food and drug act got set into motion after "the jungle" was published. this act is to protect consumers from unsafe/healthy goods.

    The model T gave people of the working class easy transportation. It was really affordable and accessible. The car was produced using assembly lines which decreased the price and influenced the "machine age". It was one of the first cars sold at a price everyone could afford.

    The NAAcP played a really important roll in the civil rights movement. This organisation removed all racial discrimination through court processes. Their most famouse c=win was the Brown v. the board of education

    This fire established many worker protection laws. The Triangle Shirtwaist Fire was the deadliest disaster in the history of the city of Manhattan. Also one of the deadliest in U.S. history with 146 workers killed.
