  • Graduation Requirement for Virtual Learning

    Every student in AVHSD to be assessed on digital citzenship and take a minimum of one class in a blended/online learning environment as a graduation requirement.
  • Individualized Education Plan

    Starting with freshmen class of 2015, each student develops an individualized education plan customized to include access to learning available virtually through other institutions and. based on college and career readiness needs
  • Complete Integration of Blended Learning Environment

    LInes blurred between traditional and virtual learning, schedules for students are flexible and do not fit into a structured school day, students can have access to learning anytime and anywhere
  • Brick and Mortar Schools transformed

    A couple of comprehensive brick and mortar schools have transformed to technology learning resource centers to accomodate growth in virtual/blended learning.
