    Meeting of representatives from British colonies. They wanted rights for colonies so they adopted a Declaration of Rights and Grievances.
  • The Daughters of Liberty

    Was a group which name first appeared on April 7, 1766, that disagreed with politics and was created as a response to unfair British taxation. They played a variety of roles in the American Revolution
  • Boston Massacre

    Was between British soldiers and some colonist in Boston. Nine British solders were arrested because the killed 5 people.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    A group of men threw tea in the sea from a boat. It was a protest of British settles in America against tea taxes accepted from British parliament.
  • First Continental Congress

    They met for discussing what to do with the Intolerable Acts. They decided to boycott British good and the exportation of American goods to Britain.
  • American Revolution

    Historians say it began on April 19, 1775 with the battles of Lexington and Concord. The last battle was at Yorktown and in 1783 Great Britain recognized American Independence.

    It was proclaimed the Independence of the 13 colonies. Britain didn´t gave up and continued fighting.
  • Battles of Saratoga

    Were two battles that marked the return of American Revolution, the fist one on September 19, 1777, and the second one on October 7, 1777. Americans had the support of France, John Burgoyne, a British commander and his troops were surrounded and accepted their defeat.
