Signing of the Declartion of Independence
Thomas Jefferson signed the Declartion of Independence of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This was a big step towards eguilty and Justice. This was important because it was the first steps to the United States freedom from Great Britain. If this didn't happen we would still be under British rule. -
Civil War 1861-1865
The South wanted slavery but the north didn't so they fought until the the north won in 1865. This was important because a lot of peope died. Also it stopped slavery so the blacks got a lot more freedom. -
Great Depression
Stock market crashed and millions lost their jobs so there for couldn't afford a house or money. This was important because a lot of people suffered without a job and no money to get food or afford a house or buy clothes. -
9/11
Tourist took over plans and crashed them into the tallest buildings in the world in New York. This was important because we were attacked by terrists and people we where in war with. Also it changed the security in the airports like taking your shoes off.
