There was a ten month investigation by the Warren Commission that Lee Harvey Oswald killed the president. Americans suspected their was a bigger plot to kill the president and there was a cover up. America stood tall and strong after that day.

Apollo was a significant event because it was the first time that humans had set foot on the moon.
