Although wars are still being fought for civil rights, expansion of borders, and nationalism today in the world there have been significant changes including advancements in technology, ways of battle in warfair, and conditions of signing a treaty to improve a country. -
World War I begins
In the city of Sarajevo in bosnia when Austrian archduke was assasanated was begining of WWI. Alliences were being made in Europe which were later known as the Allies and axis powers. Nationalism was growing in each country meaning strong support of th erights in that country. Over all the whole world was in for a disaster. WWI was a major change in the world today because we have made many advances in technology and out militaries are much stronger and better equiped. -
Russian Revalotion
The russian revalotion started becuase no one was satisfied with the tsar. He was not very good at being a leader and many deaths were taking place in WWI. The solders where not being supplied propperly. There economy was not well developed like other nations. Lenin took his place. This shows continuety because Russia is still having economic difficulties. -
U.S enters WWI
Once Lusitania, a British transport ship was sinked by the Germans was the last straw the US had that was pulled before entering WWI. The Us had big investments with the British and French and if they were to loose in the war they would not be able to pay there debts back to the US, so the US went to help them in the war. This shows continueuty because US is still getiing into war with other contries trying to support them. -
Versailies peace treaty signed
The Versailies peace treaty was a major failure to ending WWI. It ended the disputed between Germany and the Allied powers. It demanded Germany to state it was there fault for the war and they had to repay the damages caused. This casused Germany to have severe economic problems and inflation. This shows change because Now a treaty may not be signed discluding one country how Germany was. -
Holocaust begins
When Adolf Hitler became the dictator of Germany he wanted to creater a supperior race, which ment eliminating all jews, gypsyes and other side races. They were put throw rough labor and some were put to death instantly. This shows continuety because people are still being seperated and judged by race. -
WWII begins
When Germany envaded Poland in sept 1, The UK empire and France declared war on Germany. Japan invaded Manchuria, and attacked pear harbor the whole world was at war. This shows continuety because WWI was where the whole world was a disaster and now it was happening all over again. -
US enters WWII
After Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japaneese the US entered WWII. The US declared war on the Axis powers. Many were injured in the attack of pear harbor. This shows change becuase the US has now steped up on there military and is now the dominating nation of the world. -
Korean War begins
The dispute between Norht and South Korea caused the outbreak of the Korean war. The North wanted to expant south but the south did not let this happen. The US defended the South to not let communism spread, but spread there way of life. This shows continueity because till this day the Norht and South are still in a big dispute. -
Warsaw Pact
The Warsaw pact was a treaty signed inbetween eight communist contries in Europe during the cold war. The Warsaw pact was the opposite of the NATO pact. This shows change becuase there is no Warsaw pact set in place today. -
U.S- British war with Iraq
The US led forces into Iraq to invade. They broke out into war the US wanting to invade Iraq and Iraq not allowing it. The US withdrawed forces in 2011. The war is still an ongoing process. This shows continuety because we are still facing many problems with Iraq.
