They also took control of Beijing until an international force ended the rebellion.

Founded by interracial activists in response to an event where a white mob burned down 40 homes known as the 1908 Springfield race riot.

Despite this, Ferdinand decided to continue on with the motorcade and ended up getting shot by Gavrilo Princip.

Along with fighting stereotypes and trying to gain the right to vote, women also had to put up with unfair laws such as not being able to own property unless they were married. This is an important event because women gained more power which defeated some of the stereotypes that they have and because a large portion of America's citizens were only now getting a voice in politics.
