    The Invention of the Telescope

    In 1609 Galileo invented the telescope. This was important because astronomer could now look at faraway objects in great detail and make discovers that couldn't be made before.

  • Sir Issac Newton invented the first reflecting telescope

    Sir Issac Newton discovered the first reflecting telescope it use a curved lens instead of a mirror. This was important because the lenses could look further into space then a mirror.
