This act prevented colonists from issuing their own money, protecting British merchants and creditors from the "disappreciated" colonial money. -

The Stamp Act required a tax in the form of a stamp to be placed upon all newspapers, legal and commercial documents. This was the first direct tax placed on the colonies, and one of the "sparks" of the American Revolution. -
Qᴜᴀʀᴛᴇʀɪɴɢ ᴀᴄᴛ
The Quartering Act forced Colonists to provide barracks and provisions to British Soldiers stationed in America, as well as taxing colonists to pay for them. -
Declaratory Act
This act stated that the British taxing authority is the same in the colonies as in Britain.
