Timeline of Bike

  • First bike

    First bike
    The first bike that was ever invented. Invented by the French and blew up quick in France and England. It was later banned from sidewalks and could only be used in the streets.
  • Second bike

    Second bike
    The second bike that came out was a different type of bike. This bike had 3 to four wheels. Also this new kind of bike could hold one person and sometimes even 2 people.
  • Third bike

    Third bike
    The third bike was made by a Scottish black smith. It was quickly named the bone shaker because of its iron frame and iron- banded wheels. At the time he was also producing parts for carriage trade.
  • Forth bike

    Forth bike
    The fourth bike was a distinctive kind of bike. It wasn't like the first bikes, this bike was for racing. It had a big wheel in the front and a small wheel in the back. This racing was used for a few years before it died because the bikes were to heavy. They took a lot of energy and at the time this racing was only in France.
  • Fifth bike

    Fifth bike
    The fifth bike is what are modern day bikes look like now. Yet this bike was not used for riding on the street. These bikes were attached to rail roads and used to travel on them. Even though they were used for the rail roads you can detach the rails and use them for regular riding.
  • Sixth bike

    The sixth bike was designed in the early 1960's. The adult community were beginning to get into bikes and they came up with a new design. Also america and several other countries were starting to get bikes and use them for themselves.

  • Seventh bike

    Seventh bike
    This was the first bike in the 20th Century. It was more modern and did not use iron. It had rubber tires and hollow metal body. It is commonly used all around the world and is not lighter and easier than ever.
  • Eighth bike

    Eighth bike
    After the era of human bikes with pushing and petaling. they came up with the moter bike. This bike could have a moter and go by its self, no petals.
  • Ninth bike

    Ninth bike
    Along with the regular bikes BMX bikes are now out. They are used for grinding with their pegs and making hops over things. They are now one of the most common bikes of the youth.
  • Tenth bike

    Tenth bike
    The final and last bike is the mini bike. Mini bikes are now out. Before this bikes were regular and really big sizes. Not mini bikes are out for harder and another way to BMX.
  • Future BIke

    We think the next bike will have no wheels and will fly. But we think you still have to petal.
