    The French and Indian war was a war fought by the British with the colonists and the French.The British ended up winning in the end but were in extreme debt of 250 million dollars.This increase tension because due to the king being in debt the king heavily taxed the colonists to pay off the debt.It also increase tension because the king promised colonists land for fighting in the war but he refused the colonists to settle in the land this would late be know as the Proclamation of 1763

    This event contributes to the colonial tensions because the king denied the colonists settle in the west Appalachian Mountains even thought he promised them the land for fighting in the French and Indian War.The colonists were angry because the King broke thier trust by not letting them settle in the west Appalachian Mountains.

    This event contributes to the colonial tensions because the British soliders shot thier gun resulting in 5 colonists dying and them going to trial.The colonists were angry about this because they were unarmed and only 2 British soilders were proven guilty and the rest innocent.

    This event contributes to the colonial tensions because the British parliament passed the tea act resulting in the tax of British tea and banned the colonists from buying tea from other than Britian.This increased tension because the colonists were angry about the tea tax and that they could only buy tea from Britian.

    This event contributes to the colonists tensions because the colonists dressed as Mohawk Indians during night and dumped 342 crates of tea in the boston harbor resulting in the crates being destoryed.This increases tension between the colonits and the king because to punish the colonists the king passed the intolerable acts placing futher restrictions on the already angry/fustrated colonists.

    This event increased tension because the colonists were angry that they closed the harbor,they werent allowed to have meetings,no free trial,and reinstated the quartering act which made the colonists house British Soldiers and feed them.
