  • Stamp Act

    Imposes tax on all legal papers such as newspaper and playing cards, opponents were "sons of liberty"
  • Proclamation

    Forbidding colonial government to put up British in unoccupied building and provide for them.
  • Sugar Act

    Raising money for the people to go to the Crown
  • Quartering Act

    Required colonial government to put up British in occupied building and provide for them.
  • Declaratory Act

    Asserting its rights to make laws governing the colonists.
  • Currency Act

    It issued the right to any new bill which forbid the colonies from any future bill which they did not think was fair.
  • Townshed Act

    Series of British acts that tax goods imported to American colonies.
  • Boston Massacre

    Killing of 5 men, Crispus Attucks, James Caldwell, Samuel Gray, Patrick Carr and Josian Maverick. Two soliders were found guilty of manslaughter and dissmissed from the army.
  • Boston Tea Party

    A group protesters that were on there ships later emptied 342 chest of tea in the water.
  • Quartering Act

    The housing and the feeding of British troops in America.
  • Intolerable Acts

    It closed all ways from the british until they payed for the tea that was destroyed.
  • Quebec Act

    It allows boundaries of Quebec to the Ohio River to give rights of Catholics and Indians found in the region.
