Invention of Telephone

Mar 7, 1876

Alexander Graham Bell patents the telephone. This invention would allow voice communication between parties. Would prove to be a less expensive mode of communication in the long run.

Wright Brothers - First Flight

Dec 17, 1903

The first time that powered flight had been achieved. This would open doors for passenger transportation.

First Mass produced Affordable Automobile

1908

Improved manufacturing techniques allowed Ford to build a Model T at an average time of 2 1/2 hrs, which proves to be a more affordable automobile for the mass.

First Commercial Flight

Jan 1, 1914

23 minute flight with 1 passenger. Changed aviation forever. Shortly after multiple airlines started to create their own passenger flights.

Airmail Service

May 15, 1918

This was a controlled manner of mail delivery. Prior to usage of aviation delivered mail, Hot Air Balloon were used to transport. This mode of transport would not be dependent on weather and other elements.
