    Georgia began moving Native Americans westword, and instead of fighting back, the indiands sued. the case went up to the supreme court, and was named Worcester vs Georgia. It was stated that it was beyond the presidents power to move the indians, so the Indian Removal Act was passed. This gave the president power to move indiands west of the mississippi, and into present day oklahoma.
