  • The Structure of Scientific Revolutions

Kuhn’s topic was the dive of paradigm shifts of the scientific revolutions. Paradigm shift is the change in the different viewpoints and theories that will mark change of the scientific community. Scientists will try to extend different viewpoints alllowing more standards for different anomalies and puzzle pieces of science to figure out.
  • Contribution to Science

Kuhn contributed a large amount to the field of science with standardization of the scientific method. In 1962, Kuhn wanted to understand the change of how certain subjects became different through the change of thought of something at a later time period. Two different ways of thinking in two different timelines was something he wanted to differentiate. This thought process laid the groundwork of normal science. The period between paradigm shifts allows for the process of understanding.
  • Contribution to Science/part 2

The questions that need to be asked. Incommensurability was one of the concepts that was used to explain world view concepts. Two things with the same meaning can have a way that can be presented differently. With this mindset he opened doors for others to ask questions that think outside the box. Theories that should be questioned and taken apart and put back together so all can understand collectively.
