  • The Anschluss

    The Anschluss
    The Anschluss was formed by Adolf Hitler in order to unite Germany and Austria. Hitler threatened the Chancellor of Austria, Kurt Von Schuschnigg, who later on pardoned all Nazi prisoners. Kurt Von Schuschnigg only hoped that Germany wouldn't invade Austria.
    It has always been Hitler's dream to unite Germany and Austria.
  • The Munich Conference

    The Munich Conference
    Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, French Premier Edouard Daladier, and British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, all came together and signed the Munich Pact. The Munich Pact was Germany getting Czechoslovakia. In the agreement, 66% of Czechoslovakia coal, 70% of its iron and steel, and 70% of its electrical powers was given to Nazi war machine.
    Hitler's desire was to conquer Czechoslovakia and use all of its rescources.
  • The Nazi Soviet Pact

    The Nazi Soviet Pact
    Nazi Germay and the Soviet Union decided to meet and sign a Nazi-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact. The pact was to make peace and for the two countries to not attack each other.
    Hitler was already preparing for war and to invade Poland, so he created this pact in order to not fight a two front war during World War II and to not lose again since he lost in WWI.
  • The War Begins

    The War Begins
    Germany finally invade Poland, and then a war begins. Germany outnumbered Poland in armies, and weapons, which gave them an advantage. Two days later Britain and France declare war on Germany.

  • Danzig and the Polish Corridor

    Danzig and the Polish Corridor
    Hitler demanded for Danzig to be annexed and to have extraterritorial rail access for Germany across the Polish Corridor. Germany annexed Danzig which led to Germany invading Poland and the beginning of World War II.
    Hitler wanted to build a highway and railroad across Poland and to connect Germany, Danzig, and East Prussia.
