    The cattle kingdom was important because it helped the demand for beef. It also gave people jobs to do, invented the cattle drives, and the Taxas Longhorn. The people who led the cattle on then cattle trails where cowboys. Cowboys were trained by vaquero, and led a very harsh and dangerous life. . trail would be a cow town which was along the rail roads. These cow towns brought in settlers, which then set up communities nearby. Then there were some ranchers that let their cattle walk around.

    This event is important, since it connected the East coast and the West Coast. It also is important since it made that travel quicker, and much safer.     The Chivington Massacre is important, because Chivington slaughter all of the Native Americans in a Cheyenne Village. They even surrendered and Chivington ignored the white flags and continued his attack. He order is men to kill everyone in the village. There was a death total of more than 200 men women, and children in that village. It was also important, since the people of the United States were outraged that this happened. This event also continued the wars against the Native Americans.

    This event is important 600 mean took on nearly 2,000 Native Americans. They all split up into 225 men and attacked in different directions. Every single man was killed during this battle. This battle is also important, since it is one of the only victories for the Native Americans. Then later on reinforcements came, and defeated them. This battle is important, since all of Custer's men died and even him. This then gives the Native Americans one of their only victories.

    This is important because the government announced that there will be free land on April twenty second at noon in Oklahoma. When the day started with 100,000 people ready to take off, and then they went at a shot of a gun. One of the things they found on the best land, were people their already that claimed that land. Another important significance to this, was that the government forced the Native Americans who once lived on this land to move out.

    This event is important, because a Democrat congressman Bryan believed in the cause for common people. Some people called him the "Great Commoner", because of his strong belief for the common people. He agreed with the Populist Party, and made a speech against the rich, and for free silver. Two parties supported him they were the Populist and the Democrat party. Bryan lost the election even though he had the south and the west voting for him. McKinley won with the poplar states of the east.
