    Herman was later elected to be the new governor (Eugene's son) by the general assembly to replace the former governor.

    Although Herman was said to be the new governor there was still people that wanted to be the rightful governor for being a replacement, Ellis Arnall.

    After some time surrendered with his claim as the rightful governor but now there are are two candidates running to be the next governor.

    Melvin E. Thompson was the third candidate for the governor trials and was thought to be the rightful governor because he was lieutenant governor elect when Eugene died.

    After his lose in losing office for governor this actually earned him respect from younger voters and WWII veterans.

    After much debate Herman surrendered the office but almost immidiatly was ready for specials elections to be governor.
  • Herman's victory

    After easily winning against Thompson in the special elections, Herman was the last member of this faction to ever occupy the office again.
