Hester and Pearl move into a rundown cottage at the end of town, and Hester becomes a seamstress, making clothes that are not Puritan dress code.

Pearl is almost three and is willful, and still unknowing of her earthly father.

Hester and pearl go to the govenors mansion, and are almost seperated, until Dimmesdale steps in and states that Pearl is a punishment on Hester and she has to handle a child interfering with her work.

The town begins to notice that Dimmesdale is getting sick, and clenches his chest often. so Chillingworth agrees to live with Dimmesdale since he is the town doctor. Soon after, Chillingworth figures out Dimmesdale is the father of Pearl, and begins to torture Dimmesdale.

Dimmesdale, hester, and Pearl decide to move to Europe, and tomorrow they shall tell the town about thier family.

Dimmesdale stands infront of the town with pearl in his arms, and hester by his side that they are the sinful famiy.

Dimmesdale drops cold from his heart condition.

Hester and Pearl leave Boston and are not heard from for many years.

Hester returns to Boston; still wearing her 'A', moves into her cottage, and continues her charitable duties. Pearl has not returned with her mother, instead she is married to an European Aristocrat, and began their own family.

When Hester dies, she is burried next to Dimmesdale, sharing a tombstone with him and all the tombstone reads is 'A'
