    Isolation

    The Jewish and the Christians began to separate and isolate each other. Jews in many countries were confined in high walls and guarded by Christians. Jews along with other minor groups were seen as the devil's agents so they were blamed for almost every disaster. Many people moved away from the Jews and thought of them as an enemy.

    Race

    The walls that the Jews were confined in began to tear down during this time period, and a new idea came to be that replenished the ancient ideas and information. The new idea was race. Race referred to the cultural differences. However the Aryans were ranked on top and superior since they were known as special people.

    Scientists began studying if the Jewish and the Aryans were any different, they soon realized that both groups were actually similar.

    Views throughout the world

    Race was the main way people saw the world, and being racist was seen as the correct way to act towards others. Which lead to more tensions against the Jews along with other minor groups.
  • Rise of Hitler

    A minister in Germany wrote a belief, which many people began to follow and adopt since it was everywhere. The belief basically stated that the Jewish population began to grow and have better influential jobs than other groups. Many people began to believe this belief and charges were crazy. This belief was also adopted by Adolf Hitler's National Socialist. Adolf Hitler gained power and became a dictator in this time and created a dictatorship.

    The Holocaust

    Adolf Hitler and his followers slaughtered around one third of the Jewish population around the world just because of their background. The holocaust can stand for "complete destruction by fire", so the Jews were burned.
  • Hitler's Laws

    Hitler created laws that lead Christians to not have any sort of contact with Jews, and tore apart the Jews citizenships.
  • The rule of Hitler

    Hitler began to rule his neighboring countries, like Western and Eastern Europe. Hitler seized Jews and killed them after he conquered many different nations.
  • The death of Jews

    Jews were mostly dead at this point in Germany. However, Hitler still wanted the leftover Jews in Hungary to be wiped out even though the nation's leaders did not want to do so. In 1944 though, Jews were still being sent to their death.
