    Proclamtion of 1763
    The Proclamation of 1763 was issued by King George the Third. This Proclamation stated that no person could settle any further west then the royal bounderies. This was made so to lessen conflicts with the Native Americans and to keep them from thinking that they were encroaching on their land.

    This Act was passed by Parliament to lower the tax on molasses. They did this because since tax was so high, colonists would attempt or succeed in smuggling molasses into the country. "

    This act was passed by parliament and banned the use of paper money after the french and indian war had come to an end. "This taxation strategy tended to burden consumers disproportionately. In addition, government bureaucracy expanded in order to collect the needed revenue."

    After the debt in England grew, the British decided to tax the America colonists on every document, paper, or anything from paper. This made the colonists rise up and the British eventually took back the act. "An act for granting and applying certain stamp duties, and other duties, in the British colonies and plantations in America, towards further defraying the expences of defending, protecting, and securing the same;"

    This act was passed by the government of the American colonies. This act stated that the colonists would have to provide housing for the British troops. "An act for punishing mutiny and desertion, and for the better payment of the army and their quarters."

    This act was the meeting between the British overseas government. THey met to discuss the recently passed act, Stamp Act of 1765. "That His Majesty's subjects in these colonies, owe the same allegiance to the Crown of Great-Britain, that is owing from his subjects born within the realm, and all due subordination to that august body the Parliament of Great Britain."

    The declaration stated that Parliament's authority was the same in America as in Britain and asserted Parliament's authority to make binding laws on the American colonies. " And be it further declared and enacted by the authority aforesaid, That all resolutions, votes, orders, and proceedings, in any of the said colonies or plantations, whereby the power and authority of the Parliament of Great Britain to make laws and statutes as aforesaid is denied, or drawn into question"

    This is series of laws passed beginning in 1767 by the Parliament of Great Britain relating to the British colonies in North America.
