This war was caused because George Washington wanted to vhange things around do to the lose of New York and many soldiers to the British. George Washington and his troops crossed the icy Delaware River and some days later they won two battles. They defeated Hessian mercenaries. -
Battle of Saratoga
This war occured because there was a turning point in the American Revolution, the British wanted revenge. The British good mindset led them to win this battle with the help of the general John Burgoyne, Horatio Ganes and Benedict Arnold. -
Valley Forge
The Valley Forge was full of tragedy. There were diseases, malnutritions and deaths. Over 2,500 American soldiers died in this tragedy. Washington later on decided to move to a safer place for the coming weather. -
Battle of York Town
This battle was caused because it was a decesive and last war. It was the major battle of the Revolution. This war was won by the Americans, George Washington contributed a lot. General Cornwallis surrendered Yorktown, three weeks later the war was over. -
Treaty of Paris
This was signed in Paris by representatives of King George III of Great Britain.It was also signed by the representatives of the US. This signature and agreement ended the American Revolutionary war completely.
