The short lived Keating-Owen Child Labor Act was passed which banned the sale of products made by children on overseas markets. Though, this law did not hold, because it was struck down in court. -
18th Amendment Ratified
The 18th amendment banned the sale and transport of alcohol, beginning a period of time known as prohibition. This amendment was impossible to enforce though, which is why it was repealed a little over a decade after ratified -
19th Amendment is Passed
After over a century of not having the vote, women finally get the vote in the US. This was passed after a lot of pressure from groups like the NAWSA.
