In his first 100 days in office he proposed to Congress and they followed through with a program that would bring businesses and families back to life. But the banks didnt think it was a good idea. They feared it was an experiment.

By 1935 the banks did not like his "New Deal" program, so he came out with a new program called of reform called Social Security. The weatlthy got heavier taxes and the banks/public utilities got new controls and the unemployed received large work relief programs.
