It made it easier for people to move to cities, and have a life outside of farming. The middle class would grow during this time period.

The dawn of the 21st century has allowed for people to migrate, for people to live longer, and the population to grow. For the first time in 2011 the population would hit 7 billion. Now it is around 7.6 billion.
