    John Adams and William Clark were involved in the alien sedition act. This act took place during 1798 and it was in the United States of America. A law stated that foreigners had to be residents in the U.S. for 14 years before becoming a citizen. Giving punishments for doing bad and certain acts. This presidental policy helped gain more strength and security.

    Thomas Jefferson, The Untied States, and the States of Tripoli were involved in the war of Tripoli. This took place in Tripoli during May 14, 1801-1805. Tripoli was rasing the taxes on American ships, in exchange for protection from pirate attacks raised the cost the president refused and declared war U.S. won with attack from Egypt. The results from this are that their navy increased.

Thomas Jefferson sent Louis and Clark to explore the Louisiana territory. This resulted of the U.S. gettimg more land.

    James Maddison and Native Americans were involved with the Battle of Tippecanoe. It was in the north-west territory during 1811. The natives settlers were being replaced by white settlers and getting kicked off their land. James Madison wanted the natives to abandon hunting and start farming. A result of this they got pushed off their land.

European countries wanted to stamp out unwanted government. James made the Monroe doctrine with European monarchies. This is very important because this still shapes America today.

Southern states had factories.the foreign countries bought less raw material. Thus resulting that the southern states still had to pay more.

    President Jackson as well as nativie Americans are involed with the Indian removal act. this happened in the Indian territory during 1830. Jackson tried to get them to move off the land that he claimed. The trail of tears happened after war. The Cherokees walked 1,200 miles. 4000 Indians died. They were going to be forced off the land anyway because president Jackson made it a law that they couldn't stay.
