    Conquest of Habesh Eyalet

    The Ottomans take the Habesh Eyalet, located on the coast of the Red Sea. This granted the Ottomans access to the Red Sea spice trade, and this gave the Ottomans loads of money. It also blocked Portuguese influence in the area and gave them full control of the coast.
