Deryn discuises herself as a boy and tries to become a recruit in the air services. -
Ch 4/ 7
Deryn flies up on the Huxley hydrogen breather and gets tumbled in a storm. -
Ch 6
Alek finds himself, Klopp, and Volger in a bad sitchuation with an 8 legged walker. -
Ch 8
Deryn gets taken aboard the Leviathan and is recruited. -
Ch. 16
Deryn aboard the Leviathan gets assigned to aBoffin with precious, mysterious cargo. -
Ch. 20
The Leviathan's air raid seirens are on, as the German clanker aeroplanes attack the Leviathan, forcing it to land. -
Ch. 21-24
Alek finds himself running along, and Klopp and Volger tell him to stop at an old abandon castle. The castle has 10 years worth of supplies. The walker crew spots the Leviathan crash on the icy glacier. Despite the orders of Volger and Klopp, Alek goes to the crash and meets deryn. -
ch 25-6
Alek is captured by the Darwinists and is take into the Leviathan. -
Ch 28
Deryn is up in the Leviathan's biggest Huxleys and spots the people down below saying that there were enemies approaching. Clankers. -
Ch 29/30

Ch. 30
The Boffin, Deryn, Tazza (Boffin's Dog) Klopp, Volger, and Alek hook up a makeshift sled to the stormwalker, and try to bring it to the Leviathan. They spot the warning though and cut the sled loose, and rush to ward off the attackers. -
Ch. 32-33
The walker with its passengers spot the intruders setting up an anti-walker gun, but trample them. Then suddenly, the attacking zepplin drops a bomb on the walker and brakes its legs. -
ch 34-36
With the stormwalker broken and the Leviathan still inflating, the crew decides to implant the strong clanker engines onto the Elviathan as a sort of un intended upgrade. -
Ch 37/ 39
The Leviathan spots an eight legged walker approaching fast with scouts. The allies are forced to try to fly with the new engines. They escape just barely. -

The precious cargo is secure as the Leviathan and its new crew mwmbers head off to the ottoman empire.
