  • Truman Authorizes Advance

  • Third Battle of Seoul

    The U.S. started to contemplate on the possibility of evacuating the Korean Peninsula. China's Chairman Mao Zedong found out and ordered the Chinese People's Volunteer Army to cross the 38th parallel in an effort to pressure the United Nations forces to withdraw from South Korea.
